The most familiar task of video post production, the film-to-video tape transfer process is available to our customers

Editing

CineCity specializes in linear and non-linear finishing, where finessing the offline edit and creating a digital master is a critical step to completion.

We handle all types of finishing for features, television, trailers, commercials, documentaries, music videos and short films.

CineCity can also rent offline non-linear editing systems with full technical support.

Matchback or film finish capabilities for projects originally intended only for video:

  • Standard def to High-Def matchback
  • Conversion of EDL and AAF from 30fps to 24fps
  • Editing of materials intended for tape-to-film process, assuring proper 3/2 sequence and frame rate correlation to create the best possible filmout.

 

DVD Authoring

Complete DVD mastering includes menus and navigation, authoring, graphic design, subtitling, multi-language tracks, all standards of region programming, standard copy protection schemes and internet/web linking. Master to DVD or DLT

DVD Dailies replace standard 3/4" or Betacam SP window copies, Scene and take seperated by chapter stops for ease of location, DVD copies of daily transfers with scene/take chapter stops also available.

Transfer to DVD daily after telecine sessions or from previously transferred High-Definition or Standard-Definition tape sources. (D5, D3, D2, HDcam, DVCProHD, Digital Betacam, BetaSP, DVCam, MiniDV, 3/4 or VHS
